2020 GIS Data CD (Digital)
This CD contains a large selection of the GIS data available and is published annually in May or June. Currently only in digital format due to Covid office restrictions.
The data are stored in the current version of ESRI’s File Geodatabase (v10.7 format) in NAD83 Virginia State Plane North projection. The geographic data for real estate properties reflects changes that were recorded through Dec. 31 of the previous year. Other geographic layers may reflect more recent changes, if any occurred.
Annual real estate assessment (tabular) data is included as a courtesy, and is provided by the Department of Real Estate Assessments.
Requirements for the 2020 data CD: ArcGIS 10.7. Previous versions (Arcview 3.2, ArcGIS 8.x and 9.x) cannot read this data format. Contact ESRI if you have outdated software.
